32/ “THE TAX COURT MUST EXPLAIN ITS DECISIONS”: The Minnesota Tax Court adopted the Todd County assessment of John K. Beck’s lake shore property. In its opinion, the Tax Court did not explain why it completely ignored the evidence from Beck’s expert witness.
Chief Justice Gildea joined the unanimous Supreme Court in directing the Tax Court to explain its decision so that the Supreme Court could evaluate that decision on any further appeal.
